Accurately inspecting products in highly reflective blister forming film can be extremely challenging. Most vision systems have difficulty inspecting products under these conditions because the reflectance from the forming films affects lighting uniformity. If the vision system cannot compensate for this reflectance, consistent, accurate inspection of products won't be achieved. The Optel Vision Blister Inspector's newly designed optical head delivers high intensive short light pulses that are evenly diffused over the entire field of view so that ideal lighting conditions for accurate product inspection is constantly achieved.
Furthermore, by using a highly precise color verification modal, CIELab color space, the Optel Vision Color Inspection Tool carries out color verification with such precision that even colored products packaged in very similar colored blister backgrounds can be accurately distinguished and verified.
