Optel Vision, the preferred choice for packaging line inspection solutions in the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical and cosmetic industries, is pleased today to announce the opening of a U.S. based office.

The Optel Vision U.S. office will be situated in Georgia and will be managed by one of Optel Vision’s senior sales managers, Pierre Turcotte. “Opening the office in the U.S. comes in response to the ever increasing demand and interest in Optel Vision’s vision inspection solutions,” stated Louis Roy, President and CEO of Optel Vision. Furthermore, Turcotte’s extensive knowledge in pharmaceutical packaging line vision applications and strong technical background made him the ideal choice for this office,” he added.

“We have seen a lot of growth in our U.S. market over the last four years and this office will further strengthen Optel Vision’s position as a provider of innovative vision inspection solutions to our current and future customers. Furthermore, this office will allow us to more readily focus our sales efforts and further strengthen our commitment to our U.S. clients,” said Pierre Turcotte.

Turcotte’s responsibilities will still include providing sales service to the south east and developing strategic partnerships with leading OEM’s. Turcotte will now also work with Optel Vision support staff in working to centralize the deployment of support services from this location.
