Optel Vision announced today its expansion into the European vision inspection market with the opening of a new company office in Brussels, Belgium.

“Our expansion into Europe is part of the continuing development of our international presence. Over the last six months we have been focussing our efforts on preparing a solid foundation in Europe. The market interest in our packaging line inspection systems has been overwhelming” stated Louis Roy President and CEO of Optel Vision.

The Brussels office will be managed by Charles Brassard who brings a deep understanding of vision inspection technology and solutions. Mr. Brassard held the position of US Regional Sales Manager at Optel Vision for over two years.

“The role of this office is to develop closer relationships with our customers, potential customers and partners. We have already installed and validated vision inspection systems in Europe and we wanted to provide the best possible support in the region. We will respond to the demand in the European marketplace by continuing to build a team of experts in sales, technology and support.” added Charles Brassard.
