Inspection of tablets and capsules within PVC/PP or cold-formed aluminum blisters requires highly specific algorithms and lighting to accurately detect defects such as broken, deformed, stained, scored, missing, misplaced, and incorrectly colored tablets and capsules. The advanced optics used for this application also allow for complex verifications such as white tablets on white background without requiring back lighting, accurate detection of foreign objects before blister sealing, as well as lidding verification.
Additional inspection can also be added such as sealing, labelling, and final packaging.
