Doing the right aggregation - all the time

For anybody familiar with California or Turkey Track & Trace regulations, the concept of “aggregation” is well known. I’m expecting that the others are wondering what this is all about. The above picture shows an example of an aggregation: for each shrink-wrapped bundle serial number, a record is kept of which specific bottle serial numbers are packed inside. In the EPCIS standard terminology, the packed items are called the “children” and the container is called the “parent”. In other words, an aggregation consists of recording the relationship of a parent serial number with its children serial numbers.
