India delaying until 2013 the Track and Trace requirements

On July 11th, 2012, after many previous push backs, the governement of India has officially delayed the requirements for the implementation of the Track and Trace (bar-coding) for the primary and secondary packaging levels.  The new deadlines are set as follows:

 

India Ministry of Commerce (DGFT) lawyer will file counter in Madras High Court

Union Commerce Ministry (DGFT) has asked its lawyer to file a counter in Madras High Court in respose to the stay which CIPI and IDMA has taken against barcode requirements of DGFT.
