Track & Trace Public Workshop by the FDA

Optel Vision was there!

After attending the FDA Track & Trace Public Workshop on February 15-16, 2011, the message is becoming very clear, Track & Trace is going to happen nationwide.

The FDA workshop focused on the importance of Track & Trace with the need to have greater accountability, execute efficient recalls, and stop the counterfeit drug market. 
 

In order to secure the supply chain, a parent to child relationship will be required, which means each packaging level will carry a serial number.

Also present at the workshop, the California State Board of Pharmacy re-iterated that its timeline would not be extended further past 2015.
